Comparison of SiC coating Graphite and Carbon/Graphite
Graphite has physical and chemical advantages such as low thermal expansion rate, high heat conductivity, non-compatibility with other materials, chemical resistance, lubrication and high melting point over 3500¡É unlikely metal.
Not only that, mechanical strength of graphite goes up along temperature goes up in inert gas or vacuum condition.

Vacuum or inert condition is necessary at high temperature process to prevent oxidation because the oxidation starts at 350¡É in active gas or atmosphere condition. Having been SiC coated on graphite surface at high temperature, SiC coating graphite has fine oxidation proof, mechanical endurance and purity of physical property.

What is more, it is oxidation proof at 750¡É even in atmosphere or active gas condition and hardness is improved after SiC coating on surface. Impurities can be reduced by purification because the process proceeds over 2000¡É.

SiC coating graphite is used to off-limits of graphite or high quality required materials such as brazing JiG, semiconductor, electric resistance heater which is needed at high temperature-corrosion process, uniform heat conductivity required susceptor and shield.
