Impervious Graphite
Carbon & Graphite have porosities after sintering and the rate is up to 30% from 10% which presents the weak point of liquid transit and low strength in engineering material product.

However, we can reduce the porosities by implantation to maintain the its own natural properties such as lubrication, chemical resistance, non-soldering, heat resistance and improve imperviousness and mechanical strength.

Therefore, impervious graphite has no porosities and its shore hardness goes 10 up after adequate treatment.

Most carbon seal ring materials are brought from overseas in small hollow round bar standard shape and being worked. However, big size or non-standard scale materials have pervious limit due to simple vacuum mergence of the standard materials with impregnation materials. Because of this, re-merge process is needed after mechanical working to improve reliability.

Impregnation materials are consist of resins like phenol, furan and metal like antimony, brass. They are flexible to choose depending on purpose. They mainly used in engineering manufacture to produce bearing, sleeve, radial seal, labyrinth seal of mechanical seal ring, rotary seal ring. canned, magnet, non-seal pump
